Mauro’s method of teaching with analogies is so effective that I feel like light bulbs are lighting up all around me throughout our lessons. He makes so much sense!! That, coupled with his enthusiasm for seeing me improve, makes him an instructor like no other! My kids (ages 7 & 9) have also taken lessons from Mauro and his teaching approach is just as effective with kids.

I have been using this tip regularly and to great success. First serve is a hard slice which is quite accurate but then if I miss it opponent steps inside the baseline. I take a breather. In through mouth out through nose. Body loosens up. Mind calms itself. Second serve kick pushes opponent onto backfoot. The perception that I would dump the second serve into the net was regular before I slowed myself down between serves which means greater percentages and better quality serving.
