mauro,
the high school tennis coach and i butt heads all the time about this. he is very conventional and i do exactly the way you showed it. this is how i teach students i have. the improvement is almost immediate. thanks for reinforcing this valiable advice.
As usual this tip is great, man you are so right on this….
best regards
Dritan
I have just taken up playing tennis and am getting lessons. Having played golf for 30 years (7 handicap) I appreciate the importance of learning the right way.
What I have seen so far from coach Mauro is brilliant. The explanations are easily understood and he backs them up by demonstrating what he is explaining so the student can see the benefits of the drill etc.
This is great stuff & a great job by both coaches.
Thanks alot guys,
John (uk)
Thanks Coach! Timing is everything. So getting started on the right foot with hitting out front is important. I appreciate this one simple idea and will put it into practice. Thanks again. Peter
What you said about good timing is exactly what a tennis coach that I was taking community tennis lesson to me. Thank you so much for reminding me. Your videos are not only great but fun. I wish I could afford you as a tennis teacher.
What a GREAT tip!!! Coach Mauro hits the nail on the head…OUT IN FRONT…FROM THE START!!! In the 25+ years teaching tennis, the most common fault my club players make is LATE CONTACT!! This tip is sure to set them straight…THANKS, COACH!! Ciao’
